Generational Theory

In the course of my research on the various dynamics that affect culture and behavior, I found tremendous insight in Generation Theory. There were three books that addressed behavioral characteristics from a generational viewpoint. Shown below are the books. I have taken the generational periods as defined by each author, and I have placed them laterally on a single spreadsheet so show the strong parallels across authors. The spreadsheet summary by year can be printed off and kept as a ready reference. We are currently in the Fourth Turning, according to Strauss and Howe, and it is amazing to read their description of the dynamics of the Fourth Turning and how it is manifest today.
